What We Do

The Adult Religious Education committee develops classes and events for the adult church community. These events provide opportunities to explore and reflect in a safe spiritual community. Some education programs are a single session, but others last weeks or months. And congregation members are always welcome to attend our meetings!

If you’re interested in learning more about the programs before joining the committee, we share upcoming events in our weekly announcements and newsletterhere on the website, and on our Facebook page.

How You Can Help Adult RE

These are some ways you could help develop our programs:

  • attend a meeting to let us know if you have any great ideas about programs
  • participate in and/or help implement surveys to find out what events inspire adult learners
  • secure instructors and facilitators for events
  • creature brochures and other materials to promote adult classes

And if you have any other ideas or talents, please get in touch with the committee director, Mileva Lewis.
