Dear Starr King Unitarian Universalist Church Members,

This letter and enclosed documents serve as notice of Starr King Unitarian Universalist Church’s 2018 Annual Meeting as referenced in the Article VI-A of the Bylaws:

A written notice, stating the place, time and purpose for which any meeting is called, shall be sent to all members by email at least ten (10) days prior to the meeting. Any member who wishes to be notified by regular mail or to have a notice hand delivered, may request same in writing to the Starr King Office. Notice shall also be posted in the regular meeting place at least one week prior to the meeting. Notice of the meeting shall include the report of the Nominating Committee, proposed Budget, and any additional reports designated by the Board of Trustees.

Our Annual Meeting will be held on May 20th, 2018 immediately following worship at 11:40 a.m. Please bring your agenda and budget with you to the meeting as additional copies will not be made available, although all pertinent materials from the 2017 Annual Report will be projected sequentially at the Annual Meeting, for your convenience.

The purpose of this Annual Meeting will be to consider and vote on the proposed 2018-2019 budget, the slate of candidates proposed for leadership by the nominating committee, resolutions on growth and reaffirmation of our values as a “Welcoming Congregation” within the meaning of the UUA Welcoming Congregation program, as well as multiple small Bylaws amendments.  We will also consider reports from church leaders, sundry housekeeping matters and other such business as shall be raised thereat.  Please see the Annual Report for details.
