Wedding services are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the love of two individuals who have chosen to come together in marriage. The Unitarian Universalist tradition welcomes all people on their own spiritual search and upholds the inherent worth and dignity of each person. Our minister is available to help couples create ceremonies that celebrate what is meaningful and beautiful for each of them.
Because of our strong respect for each person’s beliefs and values, each wedding is custom-crafted with a couple to reflect their personalities and relationship. This respect and our flexibility enable Unitarian Universalist ministers to be skilled officiants for interfaith weddings, secular weddings for those in accord with Unitarian Universalism’s diverse beliefs.
In addition to blessing heterosexual unions, Unitarian Universalist congregations and ministers joyfully bless same-sex marriages. Unitarian Universalists affirm the inherent worth and dignity of all people and have a long history of promoting equal rights of people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ).
If you are interested in having your wedding officiated by our minister, please contact our office or minister.
Our facility is available for rental for weddings of non-members. However, all weddings must be scheduled in consultation with the minister. If the minister is unable to officiate, the minister will work with the couple to find another officiant.
