Sunday, August 29th is the start of a new phase in our pandemic era worship. For the first time since March 2020, Starr King will be holding an in-person service! Sunday worship services will continue to be hybrid: both in-person and via Zoom. Our Regathering Team has been working diligently to make sure we open our building while observing COVID safety guidelines:
- Everyone must wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status
- Children will gather outdoors in the playground, under the supervision of our Family Ministry Coordinator
- Sanctuary chairs will be arranged according to social distancing protocols: maximum of 40 people in the sanctuary and 10 in fellowship hall
- There will be no hospitality/coffee hour following the service
The limit of 40 people in the sanctuary means that we can’t all be present at once. Please let Reverend Maria Cristina know if you are interested in attending in-person and she will let you know how to register. If you are already registered, you’re all set! If you’re unsure about attending, we completely understand and hope you will join us via Zoom.
We appreciate your patience and grace as we navigate these uncharted waters of hybrid services.
