ARMCA sponsors programs, events, workshops, and classes to increase awareness of conscious and unconscious racism and unearned advantages that may get in the way of becoming a more fully multicultural congregation.

  • To increase the readiness of the congregation to become more fully multicultural by encouraging learning, fellowship, and healing.
  • To engage individually and as a congregation in creating a more just society by working to dismantle institutional racism and unconscious bias.

Membership and Meetings: ARMCA is currently not meeting because our anti racism work has become an organic part of what we do as a church. To learn more, ask Jennifer Koney about the Board of Trustees’ commitment to address racism, or Beth Ogilvie about Beloved Conversations or the White Racial Literacy Book Group.
