Hybrid Worship Services

Sunday, August 29th is the start of a new phase in our pandemic era worship. For the first time since March 2020, Starr King will be holding an in-person service! Sunday worship services will continue to be hybrid: both in-person and via Zoom. Our Regathering Team has been working diligently to make sure we open our building while observing COVID safety guidelines:

  • Everyone must wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status
  • Children will gather outdoors

Small Group Ministry Persists

Small Group Ministry (SGM) Program Persists through Pandemic


We are strong, flexible, and looking to grow! Since merging the afternoon and evening groups, we have been averaging 8-10 people at each session. Our topics have included aging resilience, anti-semitism, anger, flowers, loving-kindness, and more! Topics are suggested by our members, and we enthusiastically discussed to our hearts’ content. Instructions for Virtual Worship Services March 2020 – August 2021

As of March 15, 2020 Starr King UU Church has been offering interactive virtual worship services using Zoom.
