    Minister

    Reverend María Cristina began serving as our minister in September 2016.

    She immigrated to the United States from Chile in the late 1970s. She holds a Law Degree from the City University of New York School of Law, a Master of Divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School, and the degree of Doctor in Theology from the Religion, Gender, and Culture Program at Harvard University.

    While providing administrative support to Starr King church, I enjoy interacting with visitors and members of the congregation. I especially appreciate the dedication shown by so many members. I bring 25 years of experience in customer service to this job. When I’m not working, I volunteer with my youngest daughter’s Girl Scout troop, work in my garden, and love cooking up a batch of home-made gnocchi.
