Are You Ready To Shuffle?

Calling all Munchkins, Know-It-Alls and Big Kids!! You are all invited to participate in the upcoming Shelter Shuffle.  This year’s super fun walk event will be held on Saturday, May 21 at the beautiful San Leandro Marina Park.

Kick-off is at 9:00am.  Our course is a scenic loop right on San Francisco Bay.  Bring your dogs and your kids.  There really is no better way to show your children, be they youngsters or teenagers, how to walk the talk than helping them raise funds and participate in this event – just like you.

Speaking of raising funds, the Shelter Shuffle is one of the most important fundraising events FESCO organizes all year.  Last year our sponsors and friends, people just like you, raised over $53,000 to help FESCO make homeless families.

We have snuggly warm hoodies for super-stars raising at least $500, and one entry in our drawing for every $50 raised.   Start your fundraising early to make sure you have several entries.  This year every registered participant gets a t-shirt so register early at www.firstgiving.com/fesco.

If you know someone who would appreciate the opportunity to participate and help FESCO meet its fundraising goals, please feel free to forward this information to them. The $10 registration fee will help us offset costs and make sure more of every dollar your donors give goes straight to the cause.
