Adult Religious Education Committee

Education from Latin educere “to bring out, lead forth” (from ex-“out” + ducere– “to lead”
Purpose: To develop a variety of classes, workshops, or seminars which will nurture and stimulate the spiritual and personal growth of our adult church community.
Membership and Meetings: Membership is voluntary. Meetings are held monthly at the church on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 11 am to 12 noon (subject to change based on committee membership). Members of the congregation are always welcome to attend.
Determine the type of educational offerings the congregation would like to attend by conducting surveys as needed.
- Review the survey and determine congregational preferences
- Secure instructors/facilitators for the offerings.
- Generate a brochure to communicate all religious education activities
- Welcomes requests from members of the congregation to include content related to religious education in the quarterly brochure.
