Starr King UU Church is sponsoring Naomi Klein’s “This Changes Everything” movie Sunday, January 7th at Castro Valley Library.

Naomi Klein has once more informed us like nobody else of the pervasiveness of the use of fossil fuels in America and the world which has led to the current disastrous results of climate change. Her film crew accompanied her on a tour of nine countries and five continents, presenting stories of people on the front lines dealing with the effects of climate change–Now! We’ll tie Klein’s dramatic stories and narrative into the new Poor People’s Campaign–A Call for a Moral Revival, being organized by Reverend Dr. William Barber II, which will create enough disruption in the Spring of 2018 in Washington DC, Sacramento, and 24 other state capitals, to finally begin to change the focus of America to the problems which Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. attempted to address in the original Poor People’s Campaign fifty years ago–poverty, racism, and eternal war, adding the new issue of climate change, which has been recognized as significant only in the last 20-odd years.

You’ll have the opportunity to sign up to be informed about the new Poor People’s Campaign–A Call for a Moral Revival. Castro Valley Library is located at 3600 Norbridge Ave., and the program will begin at 1:30 pm.
