We live in bewildering and terrifying times, when the scale and scope of daily global devastations sometimes all but overwhelm us. We sing, “Ours is no caravan of despair… I’ve got peace like a river… There is more love somewhere, more joy, more hope…” – but is there? What wisdom might an ancient story hold for us, whether we believe it literally or not? What, for us, might be mystery, and miracle, of Easter?
Our guest minister, Rev. Victoria Safford, is a graduate of Vassar College and Yale Divinity School. She served as lead minister at White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church in Mahtomedi, MN. for 22 years, following a ten-year ministry in Northampton, MA. Victoria grew up in New York and worked for five years with the American Friends Service Committee. She lives with her family on the west side of St. Paul, Minnesota.
Welcome!
