Bias is an inescapable part of the human experience, but what we do with, and how we react to our biases is very much in our control. While our instinct may be to put things into categories and boxes, there is a space that can pave the way to deeper more meaningful connections, the space beyond boxes.
We welcome Rev. Amanda Schuber this Sunday. She is a graduate of Starr King School for the Ministry and has served the greater UU community in various capacities over the last 30 years. She currently serves as Minister for High Street Unitarian Universalist Church in Macon, GA and as the Disability Justice Associate on the Side With Love Organizing Strategy Team. Rev. Schuber is an advocate for disability rights and visibility in the wider world and within our denomination.
Welcome!
