Our country is in the middle of a historic demographic and cultural shift – in Hayward that shift is well underway – yet UU congregations barely reflect it in membership or culture. Putting aside demographic motivations, what do we stand to gain as individuals and as a spiritual community if we live up to our radically inclusive ideals, and what might that take?
