In these times of separation, as we reimagine and rebuild the new world, Guest Preacher Rev. Mariela Perez Simons makes a case for Belonging. For learning to belong and feel at home in our own bodies, in our communities, and in the ecosystems we inhabit. Being intentional about Belonging will ensure a less isolating, more humane, and more connected/collaborative/interdependent future for our planet.
Rev. Mariela Perez Simons is of Arawak Afro-indigenous ancestry from the Caribbean and currently lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is an ordained Religious Naturalist Unitarian Universalist minister.
