Starr King Unitarian Universalist Church in Hayward, California welcomes you – your whole self – and people of all abilities, ages, races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, and creeds. As Unitarian Universalists, we have diverse beliefs about life’s great mysteries. We need not think alike to love alike! Our welcoming church supports spiritual growth within a theologically diverse community.
Since 1954, Starr King has been on the side of love, justice, and peace. We gather as a community on Sundays for worship, but as we say before we head over for snacks and coffee: “Worship has ended; service has begun.” Church members support one another and get active in local communities. We also have a lot of fun! Starr King offers childre, youth and adult classes, small group ministry, meditation, creative activities, and many opportunities to show up for justice.
