All Gender Restrooms

All of our restrooms are “All Gender” restrooms. We welcome people of all genders and no gender.

Service Animals

We have areas where service animals may relieve themselves.

Mobility

Our sanctuary, fellowship hall, church office, and restrooms are fully accessible to those using wheelchairs or experiencing limited mobility.

Sight

Large print hymnals are available. Please ask any usher for assistance.

Hearing

Please ask our ushers or tech team about using our wireless headphones to amplify sound during worship services. During all church meetings and workshops, anyone wishing to speak from the audience is strongly encouraged to use the portable microphones.

Zoom Inclusion

The Zoom Inclusion Group (ZIG) promotes the equitable and loving inclusion of “Zoomies,” i.e., those joining our worship services and other events via Zoom. If you have suggestions for Zoom inclusion, please reach out to us at zig@starrking.org.

Special Needs Children

If you want your child to participate in the religious education program and feel that they may require special accommodation due to learning disabilities or behavioral issues, please contact our minister at minister@starrking.org or 510-581-2060 in advance so we can welcome your child fully.

Other Disabilities

To build our community, we try to assist those who may feel unwelcome or marginalized because of their disability. We may not be able to fully remedy every situation, but we can provide a compassionate ear and a willingness to enlist the help of others.
