* Minnesota voters rejected a constitutional amendment to ban same sex marriage.
* Arizona elected Kyrsten Sinema, the first openly bisexual member of Congress, and 4 other “out” bisexuals were elected nationwide.
* Californians in San Bernardino County elected Mark Takano, the first openly gay person of color to win election to the U.S. House.
* The Gay Politics Victory Fund endorsed 180 candidates in 2012, and 122 of them won.
