Las Posadas Evening Procession
Join us at 6pm, December 17th as we gather to celebrate a beloved Latin American Christmas tradition known as Las Posadas. This event expresses solidarity with all people fleeing violence and seeking refuge. We will process by candlelight through our neighborhood singing carols. Afterwards there will be singing, decorating the tree, playing games, grabbing sweets from the pinata, decorating gingerbread houses, and spending time in community. Don’t forget to wear your ugly sweater!
If you are new to Starr King, please contact Rev. Maria Cristina at minister@starrking.org to learn more about attending this evening event. In-person events have limited capacity, and masks are required.
