Earth Day Service – Re-Weaving the Web

The seventh principle of our Association calls upon to affirm the “interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.” As a species, we have been responsible for tearing at the strands of the delicate web of life that sustains us on our planet, through such phenomena as global warming, extinction of species, oil spills, ozone depletion. What can we do to repair some of the damage?

April’s Fool: The Comic and the Cosmic

Laughter is good for the body, the soul and the community, and the comicspirit can be a vehicle for self-transcendence. There is so much to be serious about—the sorry state of politics, the urgent needs of the world, our personal troubles, losses and worries. This Sunday, let’s put our concerns aside for a moment, explore the comic spirit, and usher in the month of April with a bit of mirth.
