The rally and march starting point will be at Lake Merritt Amphitheater in Oakland, CA. The march will proceed up 14th Street, ending at Frank Ogawa Plaza. (According to Google, it is .8 mile — much shorter than the original march.) Our branch is planning to meet up with members from other East Bay branches and march together as a group for more visibility. We also hope to have a table at the final ‘Call to Action Alley’ in Ogawa Plaza. The place we will all meet before the rally will be posted on the branch web page at least a week before the march.
